I wanted to take the opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Cardinal Custom Enterprises who recently completed construction of our new home in “The Preserve at Clayton Pond.” My wife and I met with numerous custom home builders before selecting Cardinal to build our dream home. Their personalized care, commitment and attention to detail were evident during our first meeting, prior to selecting them, and continued throughout the building process.

John, Lynn and Darren always made us feel like our project was their top priority and our family was a part of the Cardinal construction team. Many people believe custom home building can be a nightmare; however, we found the entire process quite enjoyable with the Cardinal team. They returned phone calls immediately and met with us outside of traditional business hours to accommodate our family’s busy schedule. They researched all our inquiries with regard to vendors, pricing and timeliness and always provided honest and insightful feedback while still allowing us to make the final decisions. Not only did they listen to our input throughout the build they intuitively made our dreams a reality.

From the very beginning of the process, while searching for our lot and tweaking our building plans to the final key turnover they made us feel that they were just as invested as we were in making this house our home. Every challenge we posed to them along the way, they met with enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude. I don’t know many people who can say that their builder became a friend but we can whole heartedly say we are glad to count them as friends today.
